DESCRIPTION:

Apply now for the Recovery Community Organization (RCO) Executive Leadership Community of Practice (CoP)! This 6-month CoP consists of 12 facilitated, topic-based sessions. We will explore the complexity of leading RCOs, learn from each other’s experiences and expertise, share valuable resources, and build a community of leadership in a space that can, at times, feel isolating.

 

Session topics will include leadership identity, creating valued-based impact, leading others, co-leading governance, life and leadership, and many other relevant topics that are important to our community of practice.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Explore issues related to leading a community-based nonprofit organization
  • Learn about co-leadership styles
  • Develop relationships with a network of RCO leaders in your region

 

 

TRAINING SCHEDULE:

The RCO Executive Leadership Community of Practice will meet twice a month for 90-minutes via Zoom from April–September 2023.

Trainer, Jamie Elzea, MPH, LICSW

Facilitator Jamie Elzea, MPH, LICSW, is a seasoned nonprofit executive leader, professional development trainer, leadership coach, and nonprofit consultant. She aims to create a leadership peer learning experience that centers relational learning and reflection, while equipping leaders with practical knowledge and tools for effective nonprofit leadership.

 

 

The Great Lakes A/MH/PTTC is offering this training for individuals working in HHS Region 5: IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI. This training is being provided in response to a need identified by Region 5 stakeholders.
