The Great Lakes ATTC offers this event in partnership with the Northwest and South Southwest ATTCs.
A three-day interactive summit designed for behavioral health systems and stakeholders to address and navigate the complexities of addressing race equity and the intersection of recovery-oriented systems of care. Participants will leave with an increased understanding of equity and the root causes of behavioral health disparities. It will offer health administrators, organizational leaders and community stakeholders a clear, practical framework for addressing inequities at the individual, system, and community levels.
Certificates of attendance will be provided to participants who fully attend all three days of the summit. CEUs are not being offered for this event.
Ijeoma Achara-Abrahams, PsyD, founded Achara Consulting Inc. in 2008. Since then, Dr. Achara and her team have helped state and local governments and provider organizations across the country to envision, plan, implement, and manage transformational change in behavioral health systems and services.
Dietra D. Hawkins, PsyD, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and the owner of a consultation practice inspired by the concept of Equity by Design, Dr. Dietra Design Partners work with state and local governments and behavioral health agencies on Appreciative Inquiry approaches, recovery-oriented systems of care, asset-based community development and inclusion, and the healing of racism.
