Opioid Clinical Decision Support in Primary Care: CTN-0095

About the webinar

In this webinar, presenters Stephanie Hooker, PhD, MPH, and Rebecca Rossom, MD, MS, will discuss the design and implementation of Opioid Wizard, a clinical decision support tool embedded in the EHR for primary care clinicians. The goal of the tool is to help clinicians identify, screen, diagnose and treat opioid use disorder (OUD). They will also discuss one of the supplements to CTN-0095, which tested a training to reduce stigma towards people with OUD among primary care clinicians.

Learning objectives

At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:

• Identify three (3) reasons why it is important to identify and treat OUD in primary care settings
• Describe two (2) ways that an EHR-embedded clinical decision support tool could help clinicians address care gaps for people with OUD
• List at least one (1) main finding from CTN-0095 and/or its supplement
