In honor of Alcohol Awareness month, you are invited to join us for this special 2-hour event. A listening session created to discuss the ongoing impact of alcohol on Indigenous communities and the personal journeys to wellness and recovery. Today's event will feature discussions on the role alcohol has played in American Indian and Alaskan Native culture/communities in the past and its continued impact on Native peoples of this country today. Led by an informal panel of American Indian and Alaskan Native professionals, this listening session aims to explore solutions, prevention, early intervention, treatment, harm reduction, and other alcohol related recovery topics.
