The current COVID-19 pandemic has presented enormous challenges to behavioral health disciplines working with multicultural communities. There has not been a more urgent time to provide effective substance use and trauma counseling and supports to people who traditionally have experienced poor health outcomes. This interactive two-part webinar (90 minutes each) will provide an overview of the CLAS Standards and a focus on how providers might implement culturally and linguistically appropriate strategies to heighten engagement opportunities and effect recovery support to diverse communities. You must register for each day separately. To receive a Certificate of Completion for three CASAC hours, participants are required to attend both sessions in their entirety.
