A client, Shawn Adams, agrees to try medication for his opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Clinician Jeanne Rosner demonstrates how a Buprenorphine waivered Physician Assistant in the state of Washington conducts a Telehealth Induction session. Shawn was referred from an emergency department social worker following an attempt to get additional opioid medications for back pain. The session will show how Ms. Rosner introduces and prescribes medications to treat opioid use disorder in a virtual environment.
