International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD), held every August 31st, is a global event that aims to raise awareness of overdose, reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths, and acknowledge the grief felt by family and friends who have lost someone to overdose.

This year, StopOverdose.org at the University of Washington Alcohol & Drug Abuse Institute (ADAI) reached out to partners in Washington State and asked them to submit videos answering the question, "How can you stop overdose?"

The Northwest ATTC has been actively involved in a number of projects and events aimed at combating the opioid crisis and reducing deaths from overdose, so we were excited to be able to participate in this important educational campaign.
