Clinical Supervision in Substance Use Disorder Treatment I
is for the beginning supervisor as well as those who have experience in clinical supervision. Participants will have an opportunity to learn a model of Clinical Supervision that includes observing counselors, providing feedback, rating counselor performance, and writing a professional development plan. Training methods will include brief presentations, role play, and group interaction. The goal of this model is to provide a structure to improve counselor performance. The examples and materials used in this training are specific to Substance Use Disorder Treatment.

Participants will learn to use TAP 21, The Addiction Counseling
Competencies, the RUBRICS and TIP 52.
