THIS EVENT IS FOR KING COUNTY PROVIDERS; REGISTRATION BY SPECIAL INVITATION ONLY.

Through a combination of lecture, video, and small group practice, participants will apply skills based in Motivational Interviewing to the delivery of a four-step Brief Negotiated Interview (BNI). Completion of this 4-hour course allows eligible practitioners to provide, or supervise individuals providing, SBIRT services, billable under Washington Apple Health (Medicaid). This training is funded by the King County Mental Illness and Drug Dependency Plan (MIDD).
