SUD treatment has two different and important laws that regulate confidentiality, HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. This minicourse will be discussing the Health Information Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA). Requirements of 42 CFR Part 2 are addressed in a separate minicourse.
