The effects of prenatal alcohol exposure represent a leading preventable cause of developmental delays in the United States. Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) represent the range of lifelong effects that can occur, including cognitive, behavioral, and/or social deficits. This lunch break will provide an overview of FASD and provide resources to adapt womenâ€™s treatment programs to increase success for women with an FASD.
